Student Term Screen

The term screen lets the student view all their information pertaining to a a term. The form has 6 pages: Details, Classes, Independent Courses, Schedule, Attendance and Transactions.

Details

Note: the 1 in the form's title signifies this is the student's first admission record. This number would only be greater than 1 if the student had previously attended the institution in the past.

The page displays:

  • Student's name and academic term.
  • Student grade level for the term.
  • Student's default course delivery method for the term.
  • Full time status of the student.
  • First time status of the student (is this the first term the student attends the institution?)
  • Total number of credits tried during the term.
  • Total number of credits earned during the term.
  • Total number of points earned (quality points) during the term.
  • GPA (Grade Points Average) for the term.

Classes


The page shows all the classes of the student for the term. Each tile shows:

  • Course code and class section
  • Final grade if applicable
  • Course title
  • Number of credits
  • Class attendance statistics: number of times present, late, absent and excused.

Click on a tile to view your class data via the Student Class Screen, including: schedule, attendance and assignments.

Independent Courses

The page shows all the independent courses the student is enrolled in during the term. An independent course is a course taken by the student apart from a class, usually under the supervision of an instructor. Each tile shows:

  • Course code
  • Final grade if applicable
  • Course title

Schedule


This page shows the student's schedule for the term based upon the schedules of the classes they are enrolled in.

Attendance


This page shows the student's attendance record for all classes in the term.

Tip: you can also view the attendance information in a specific class via the Attendance page of the Student Class Screen.

Transactions

This page shows all the financial transactions of the student during the term. Each tile shows:

  • Transaction effective date
  • Transaction Type (Charge, Payment, Credit, Refund)
  • Transaction amount
  • Transaction description

You can filter transactions by type (charge, payment, credit, refund) and/or by post date.
